Albanian mythology: Kulshedra (folk tradition)

The Dragon

Episodes coming soon

Cover art. Episodes for this series are not drawn yet.

Description

The rain stops. The wells drop. The kulshedra has woken in the mountain above the village and she will not let the water past until she is paid, and her price is never money. The elders draw lots. The girl whose name comes up walks up the dry riverbed alone, because that is what the village agreed, and because the boy who swore he would stop it has not been seen since the lots were drawn. He has not run. He has gone looking for the one thing that can kill a serpent that old - and he has until sundown.
