What we collect, why, and how to have it removed.

Reading without an account
You can browse the catalogue and read every free episode without signing in. We do not ask for your name, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
If you sign in
Signing in needs an email address. We send a six-digit code to it; there is no password to store. Against your account we keep your email address, whether a membership is active and when it ends, and which episodes you have finished, so your place is kept when you come back.
If you buy a membership
Payment is taken by Shopify, not by us. Your card details never reach this site and we never see them. Shopify tells us that an order was paid, and we record an identifier for the subscription so that renewals and cancellations reach the right account. Shopify handles that payment under its own privacy policy.
Who else sees it
The site runs on Vercel and the database is hosted by Neon, so both process data on our behalf. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page views and loading speed in aggregate; neither sets an advertising cookie and neither follows you to other sites. We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not share your email with advertisers.
Cookies
One signed cookie keeps you logged in. That is the only cookie this site sets for its own purposes. Clearing it signs you out.
Deleting your data
Write to the address on the contact page and we will delete your account, your reading history and your email address. If you have an active membership, say whether you want it cancelled at the same time.
