Description
The Norse gods are not surprised by their ending. They know the world burns, they know the wolf gets loose, they know which of them dies and roughly in what order - a seeress told them, and they have had a very long time to think about it. So they bind the wolf while he is still small enough to bind, and he lets them, because he is curious how many tries it takes. They raise the children of their enemies. They go to the weddings and the feasts and the wars anyway. This is a mythology with the last page already read, and it is about what you do with the pages before it.
