Description

Nine wounds, nine years in bed, and one sister who has not left his side for any of it - she washes them, she keeps him alive, she sings to him when the pain will not let him sleep. Then word comes up from the coast: the Black Knight has come out of the sea, he is taking what he wants from every household along it, and what he wants from this one is her. Gjergj Elez Alia asks for his horse and his sword. He cannot stand. He gets up anyway, and the fight that follows is not really about the sea or the knight.
