Description

Everyone is born with one. She stands at your shoulder from your first breath, she knows the hour your life ends, and she never tells you - she is the ora, and she is not a guardian angel so much as a witness who cannot look away. This one has watched her charge grow from a child into a man she should not have feelings about, and she has broken the only rule her kind has: she has started to intervene. Every hour she buys him is taken from somewhere. She knows exactly what the debt is. She keeps paying it anyway.
